UN Global Road Safety Week kicks off in ECape

The United Nations Global Road Safety Week gets underway in Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape this morning to intensify road safety education.
The initiative is a worldwide campaign which aims to highlight particularly the plight of children on the world’s roads.
It targets key safety aspects such as seat belts for kids, scholar transport and patrol, cycling and helmet wearing as well as distracted walking.
